Ten years in, and I still open every project the same way: understand the problem first.
I'm a UI/UX designer and WordPress developer based in Karachi, Pakistan, working with founders and teams across the US, Canada, UK and Australia. This is the longer version of how I got here.
I spent 7 years working inside corporate product teams, sitting through the exact meetings where a design gets debated, cut, delayed, and eventually shipped. Then I went freelance, and spent the next 4+ years learning what changes when there’s no team standing behind the work, just you and the client.
Today I split my time between direct client work and leading a small design team at my own studio, Axxemo Technology. Either way, you’re getting someone who has actually shipped the thing, not just mocked it up and handed it off to someone else.
That combination shaped how I work now: I plan like someone who’s seen projects go wrong in a corporate setting, but I move like a freelancer who knows a client’s time and budget are real constraints, not abstractions.

Started in corporate product design

Direct communication
You talk to the person doing the work. No account managers relaying messages back and forth.

Scope gets agreed before work starts, so there are no surprise invoices later.

Beyond the work
Outside client work, I'm usually building something else.
I run a small computer institute from home, AIT Pakistan, teaching design and web skills to a new batch of students. I’m also slowly building out a couple of side ventures in tourism and automotive, mostly because I like figuring out how new industries work.
If I’m not at the desk, I’m probably learning some new tool I don’t need yet, or explaining Figma to someone for the third time this week.
